Susan Ploughe

Understanding
 Color in Oils

Friday, Saturday & Sunday
 January 29, 30 & 31, 2021
9:00 am - 4:00 pm

$210.00

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

The subject of color seems overwhelming because there are millions of them; how can we possibly learn how to mix every one? Here is some good news: Every spot of color that you put on a painting has just THREE main characteristics that you can understand and control. You will eliminate a lot of guesswork when it comes to choosing what color to mix and how to mix it, and you will learn to predict how a color will behave in relationship to the spots of color around it. As a bonus, these exercises will improve your ability to perceive colors!
